Below is the list of activities and information sessions being held during orientation.  Please pay attention to the "mandatory" information in italics to know what sessions you will need to attend.  There are several different graduate programs that are meeting from BME this week

Sneakers and athletic clothes are a must as this is a hands on team building event.

IBSC Orientation Breakfast with faculty, staff and current students.

Mandatory for new IBSC students.

9:30am- 10:30am

Photos--Professional photos will be taken.  These photos will be used on the website and for BME and IBSC news announcements like awards, fellowships, etc.
Dress will need to be business casual.

10:30am-  12:00pm

Introduction to Storytelling and Plagiarism Workshop
This will be the last piece of your Responsible Conduct in Research requirement.  You will need to bring in your signed form to our office no later than Monday, August 19th at 4:00 pm. (You will receive this form during the Plagiarism workshop)

Graduate School Information Day


Welcome Session including speakers in the following topics: Greater Lafayette community, safety and security, student rights and responsibilities, institutional equity, disability resource services, freedom of speech and when a students has a concern or need.

Location: LOEB Playhouse Stewart Center


Breakfast and Resource Fair--over 50 Purdue University and community organizations will be available to speak with students.

8:00 pm ???? BMEGSA Bonfire at Graduate Student House

In addition to the above, HR Staff Benefits will be offering information sessions to new graduate students at various times in August and September (times to be determined). The Office of Ethics and Compliance will be offering EA/EO sessions to new graduate students.
