Tridib K. Saha, a graduate student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has won a Graduate Teaching Award from the Purdue University Teaching Academy. This award honors graduate students with teaching responsibilities from across campus for their dedication to Purdue students and their outstanding teaching contributions. “I try my best to introduce new pedagogical methods and contents to keep my students motivated,” he says. “It is an honor to receive this award as it shows that I have been successful in making learning better for my students."

Established in 1998, the mission of the Purdue University Teaching Academy is to enhance and strengthen the quality of teaching and learning at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to provide leadership for outreach efforts to improve K-12 education. Bringing together outstanding teachers from across the institution, the Teaching Academy provides interested faculty, staff, and students the opportunity to talk, learn, and work together on important and meaningful educational initiatives. Under the auspices of the Office of the Provost, the Teaching Academy works with the academic schools and colleges, the Center for Instructional Excellence, and others to enrich the educational experiences of the entire Purdue University community.
