US News & World Report announces 2019 undergrad program rankings

In the U.S. News & World Report survey "Best Colleges 2019" Purdue's College of Engineering ranked 9th nationally among doctoral-granting universities. Electrical Engineering came in at #10, as did Computer Engineering.

The US News & World Report has released its national rankings of undergraduate programs, “Best Colleges 2019.” The rankings are computed from the responses to a survey sent to deans, heads, and selected senior faculty who rated programs on a 1-5 scale from marginal to distinguished. Based on these responses, EE is ranked #10, compared to #8 last year, while CmpE moved up two spots in the rankings to #10.

In the U.S. News & World Report survey “Best Colleges 2019,” released in September 2018, Purdue’s College of Engineering ranked 9th nationally among doctoral-granting universities. Undergraduate program rankings are based on ratings by deans and senior faculty in those disciplines at peer institutions.
