New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program

With funding by the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program, NYIT is recruiting ten undergraduates to conduct research with our faculty in the research area of security of mobile devices and wireless networks for 10 weeks during summer 

(May 31st - August 4, 2017).   

Participants will receive $5,000 as stipend plus lodging, food and travel expense allowance.

Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)
Motivated and talented students are invited to apply for paid summer research internships to gain hands-on research experience in stimulating the spread of malware on smartphones, implementing cryptographic algorithms and authentication schemes for smartphones, studying topology control of wireless networks, geolocating smartphones, detecting physical attack on a network of smartphones, and developing privacy-protected medical sensing methods using smartphones.

Since the selection process is very competitive, students are advised to obtain letters of recommendation from their professors early on.
