New ILS Course for Entrepreneurial Engineering Students

A new course:  ILS 595 – Information Strategies for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a one credit course that will be taught in the spring.  

Course Description

This course is designed to give students the opportunity to delve deeper into the research skills necessary for successful technology commercialization. In order to determine the commercial feasibility of an idea, and to protect the final innovation, entrepreneurs must devote significant resources to research.  In this course, students will learn valuable skills such as completing a market analysis, gain understanding of intellectual property, research the feasibility of an idea, and learn about the Purdue resources available to support students and alumni in taking ideas to market.
