This internship would begin the summer 2015 full time at the Houston, TX location then continue on part-time during the school year at the West Lafayette, IN lab location along with several other HP interns from Purdue while the student continues their studies at Purdue and receiving a good paycheck in the process of expanding their classroom knowledge in a lab environment.  We are looking for highly energetic students that have previous knowledge and a strong desire to increase their knowledge in operating system scripted deployments, hardware experience, or validation testing.  Projects may include creating auto-install processes for various Linux distributions, running validation tests and creating reports including conclusions from the tests, installing new hardware in the servers and performing tests, as well maintaining the test lab infrastructure services and cabling.

Requirements:

Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology or Electrical Engineering major

3.0 or higher GPA

Previous work experience a plus
