Catalog Description:

Transient and steady state behavior of transmission lines; wave guides, antennas, propagation, noise, microwave sources, system design.

Course Objectives:

To introduce the student to the main factors that must be considered in communication system design, apart from lumped circuit analysis, and modulation and information theory.
