ECE 69500 - Essentials of MOSFETs
Note:
This course will run the first 5 weeks of the fall semester and is available through PEO, or online for WL students only. Students will have access to the instructor through a discussion forum and by office hours. If there is sufficient enrollment, weekly help sessions will be scheduled.

ECE 30500 or ECE 60600 or ECE 69500 Primer on Semiconductor Fundamentals
Requisites by Topic:
Understanding of semiconductor fundamentals
Catalog Description:
This course develops a simple framework for understanding the essential physics of modern nanotransistors and also discusses important technology of considerations and applications of MOSFETs. The goal is to do this in a way that is broadly accessible to students with only a very basic knowledge of semiconductor physics and electronic circuits. The course is designed for anyone seeking a sound, physical but simple understanding of how nanoscale transistors, specifically MOSFETS, operate. The course should be useful for advanced undergraduates, beginning graduate students as well as practicing engineers and scientists.
