Purdue BME welcomes Estelle Park, PhD
Estelle Park, PhD has joined the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering as an Assistant Professor. Her research is best known for growing stem cell-derived organoids in physiologically relevant microenvironments through microengineered organ-chip devices to study tissue morphogenesis and identify biomarkers in diseases.

EMBRIO Institute comes to High Alpha in Indianapolis
Krishna Jayant, assistant professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue, presents his group’s research to other researchers from multiple disciplines during the two-day EMBRIO institute retreat at High Alpha in Indianapolis. The slide highlights the work Jayant and student Shulan Xiao are doing to “uncover the rules via which neurons multiplex information across multiple dendrites.”
