Professor Dan Jiao and students receive S.A. Schelkunoff Prize Paper Award from IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society

The paper was titled “Explicit Time-Domain Finite-Element Method Stabilized for an Arbitrarily Large Time Step” , published in the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, vol. 60, no. 11, pp. 5240-5250, Nov. 2012, authored by Qing He, Houle Gan, and Professor Dan Jiao.

Professor Dan Jiao and her students have received the 2013 S. A. Schelkunoff Prize Paper Award from the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society.

The S. A. Schelkunoff Prize Paper Award is presented to the authors of the BEST PAPER published in the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation during the previous year.

This paper was titled “Explicit Time-Domain Finite-Element Method Stabilized for an Arbitrarily Large Time Step” , published in the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, vol. 60, no. 11, pp. 5240-5250, Nov. 2012, authored by Qing He, Houle Gan, and Professor Dan Jiao. Qing and Houle were Professor Jiao’s PhD students who graduated in 2012, and 2010 respectively.

The prizes are award certificates for each author and an honorarium set by the IEEE AP-S AdCom. The presentation of the award will be made at the Awards Banquet of the 2013 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and the 2013 CNC/USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, July 7-13, 2013, Orlando, Florida.
