Sarah Calve, an assistant professor in Purdue's Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, has been named the recipient of the 2018 Rising Star Award for Junior Faculty from the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) at the Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering (CMBE) Conference on Jan. 3, in Key Largo, FL. The theme of this year’s conference was Transformative and Translational Mechanobiology.
