"MeCast" team wins Dassault Systemes Additive Manufacturing Hackathon with personalized cast
A Purdue team won first place at the Dassault Systemes Additive Manufacturing Symposium and Hackathon for the design of a personalized orthopedic cast for bone fractures. Luyao Cai, a graduate student in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, and Ke Huo and Subramanian Chidambaram, both graduate students in the School of Mechanical Engineering, comprised the team.
