Stephen Ferguson, Carl Cook of the Cook Group honored by Purdue

Stephen L. Ferguson, Chairman of the Board of Cook Group, received the Honorary Boilermaker Award and Carl A. Cook, CEO of Cook Group, received the Extraordinary Boilermaker Award at the French Lick Springs Hotel in French Lick, IN on May 10. George R. Wodicka, Dane A. Miller Head of Biomedical Engineering, presented the awards on behalf of Purdue President Mitch Daniels during the Purdue Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering faculty and staff retreat.

Ferguson and Cook were recognized for their unselfish support of the University and the Weldon School Biomedical Engineering, their commitment to its ideals, and unflagging friendship.

Wodicka said that they have been steadfast allies of the school. “Through Steve and Carl’s leadership, we have had a long and prosperous partnership with the Cook Group of companies. Their spirit and enthusiasm help make our school great.”

Cook received a BS in electrical and computer engineering in 1985 at Purdue. The Extraordinary Boilermaker Award is awarded to any alumnus or individual with long association with Purdue who has demonstrated loyalty and service to Purdue.
