Romary appointed Purdue student trustee

Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb has appointed Daniel Romary, a Purdue Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering senior, as a member of the Purdue Board of Trustees. Romary, of New Haven, Indiana, was appointed to serve a two-year term as the board's student trustee.

Romary is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and plans to pursue a master’s degree in the same discipline at Purdue after his planned May 2018 graduation. He currently serves as Purdue Student Government secretary and was previously PSG’s College of Engineering senator and director of strategic planning and assessment. Romary also is a junior board member of the Purdue Foundation Student Board.
