Webster, School of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences, Hebei University of Technology, Tianjin, China; School of Engineering, Saveetha University, Chennai, India; and Division of Pre-College and Undergraduate Studies, Brown University, Providence, RI will present a special seminar on Wednesday, October 2 at 10:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 entitled "Eliminating Implant Infection: 30,000 Nanotextured Implants in Humans with no Failure."

Eric Markvicka, PhD, Robert F. and Myrna L. Krohn Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Smart Materials and Robotics Lab at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present "Soft-Multifunctional Materials for Soft Robotics and Wearable Electronics" on Wednesday, October 2nd at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 and via Zoom.

Shawn S. Goodman, PhD, Director of Graduate Studies, Dept. of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Iowa will present "Fast, Comprehensive Characterization of Middle Ear Muscle Reflex Dynamics" as part of the Seminars in Hearing Research on Thursday, September 26 at 12:00 noon in Nelson Hall, Room 1215.           

Krishna Jayant, the Leslie A. Geddes Assistant PRofessor of Biomedical Engineering will present "Unlocking Intelligence: Insights from Basal Dendritic Computations for Advancing Neural Information Processing and Neuro-inspired AI" on Wednesday, September 25 at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 2001 and via Zoom.

Xiaoming Jin, PhD, Associate Professor of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology, Stark Neuroscience Research Institute at the Indiana University School of Medicine will present "Cortical Homeostatic Plasticity in the Mechanism and Treatment of Posttraumatic Epilepsy and Neuropathic Pain as part of the Seminar for Neurotrauma and Diseases on Wednesday, September 25th at 4:00 p.m. in NSLN 1195.

Alex Hustedt-Mai, Au.D., CCC-A and Michael G. Heinz, Professor and Associate Head for Research, SLHS will present "Accessible Precision Audiology Research Center (APARC) Opening at the 16 Tech Innovation District in Indianapolis" on Thursday, September 19, at 12:00 noon in Nelson Hall - Room 1215 as part of the Seminars in Hearing Research.

Professor Milink Rajadhyaksha, Department of Medicine at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Professor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medicine will present "Reflectance confocal microscopy of skin cancers: Technology, clinical advances, early impact on patient care" on Wednesday, September 18th at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 and via Zoom.
