Dr. Kevin Otto, Dane A. Miller Head and Professor of Biomedical Engineering, will kick off the Seminar for Neurotrauma and Diseases Fall 2024 series with a presentation on Wednesday, September 18th at 4:00 p.m. in DLR 131.

Professor Milink Rajadhyaksha, Department of Medicine at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Professor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medicine will present "Reflectance confocal microscopy of skin cancers: Technology, clinical advances, early impact on patient care" on Wednesday, September 18th at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 and via Zoom.

Ashlee Ford Versypt, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at The State University of New York at Buffalo will present "Systems Biomedicine and Pharmaceutics: Multiscale Modeling of TIssue Remodeling and Damage" on Wednesday, September 11th at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 and via Zoom.

Bridget Hawryluk, Human-Centered Design Researcher at Research Jam will present "This or That or Something else?" Making decitions to conduct HCD research on Friday, September 6, at 12:00 noon via Zoom.

Yunlong Liu, Professor of Medical and Molecular Genetics, Biostatics and Health Data Sciences and BioHealth Informatics at Indiana University School of Medicine will present "Roles of regulatory variants and alternative splicing in complex diseases" on Wednesday, September 4th at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 and via Zoom.

Dr. Christopher Newman, Assistnt Professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Indiana School of Medicine, will present "Imaging Surrogates of Bone Quality and Fracture Resistance" on Wednesday, August 28th at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 and via Zoom.

The Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering opens its BME Distinguished Research Seminar Series on Wednesday, August 21st, at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 and via Zoom. The seminar will be presented by Dr. Charles Babbs, MD, PhD, Continuing Lecturer, BME and Associate Research Scholar, BMS and is entitled "The first 25 years of biomedical engineering at Purdue and the students and staff that made it happen."

Elle O’Brien, PhD, University of Michigan, will present “How will generative AI change scientific software?” on Thursday, April 25th at 12:00 p.m. in Nelson Hall, Room 1215 as part of the Seminars in Hearing Research.
