The Indiana University O'Brien Center presents "From Basic Informatics to Machine Learning," a hands-on, interactive tutorial to harness th epower of kidney single cell and spatial transcriptomics data on Monday, December 2 and Tuesday, December 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Bin Cao, PhD, Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, will present "The Power of Biofilms: Enhancing Sustainability Through Biofilm Engineering" on Tuesday, November 26th at 10:30 a.m. in POTR 234 (Fu Room).

Christopher L. Contreras, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Andrew T. Templin Lab at the Indiana University School of Medicine will present "Novel Roles for Receptor Interacting Protein Kinase 1 in Beta-Cell Cytotoxicity" on Monday, November 25 at 12:00 noon in HqO at 16 Tech: Room H204 in Indianapolis and via Zoom.

Nambi Seshadri, Adjunct Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of California at San Diego and Distinguished Institute Professor, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras will present "Machine Learning for End-to-End COmmunication Systems Design" as part of the Purdue Engineering Frontiers Lecture on Wednesday, November 20, at 2:30 p.m. in MSEE 190.

John Fisher, PhD, Distinguished University Professor and Department Chair, Fischell Department of BIoengineering at University of Maryland, College Park will present "3D-Printing to Engineer Complex Tissues" on Wednesday, November 20th at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 and via Zoom.

Feng Guo, PhD, Associate Professor of Intelligent Systems Engineering, Indiana University - Bloomington, will present "Organoids Meet AI and Medicine" on Wednesday, November 20th, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in DLR 131 as the final presentation in this semester's Seminar for Neurotrauma and Diseases seminar series.

Jim Wells, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer, Center for Stem Cell and Organoid Medicine (CuSTOM) will present "Engineering organized to study digestive and metabolic diseases" on Monday, November 18 in Indianapolis and via Zoom.
