Graduate students Qing He and Wenwen Chai received paper awards at the 2011 IEEE International Symposium of Antenna and Propagation held in July at Spokane, WA. Qing He was a Best Student Paper Award Finalist. His paper was entitled "An Explicit Time-Domain Finite-Element Method that is Unconditionally Stable." Wenwen Chai received Honorable Mention Award. Her paper was entitled "An H2-Based Direct Integral Equation Solver of Linear Complexity for Full-Wave Extraction of 3-D Structures in Multiple Dielectrics." Both Qing and Wenwen are advised by Professor Dan Jiao.
