The Rayl sisters, born and raised in Franklin outside Indianapolis, both study computer engineering at the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and are members of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Purdue section in Indianapolis.

Prof. Michael R. Melloch has been recognized for the third time with the Class of 1922 Helping Students Learn Award. The honor, which celebrates outstanding innovation in teaching and learning, was awarded to Melloch for his pioneering course and companion book "Keys to Learning: Unlocking Your Brain's Potential."

But even the most sophisticated aerial robots face one enduring challenge: how to land safely. Thanks in part to groundbreaking work by faculty at Purdue University's Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, RoboBee now has a solution.
