Boilermaker Circuit, a career fair held exclusively for students in the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, recently drew 45 representatives from 16 Corporate Partner companies (list below) and more than 500 students.

Purdue University online engineering master’s degrees again ranked among the nation’s elite in the newest U.S. News & World Report rankings of the Best Online Master’s in Engineering Programs.

Chang Niu and Zehao Lin, PhD students in Purdue University’s Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, have been awarded the 2023 Roger A. Haken Best Student Paper Award by the 2023 IEEE International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM).

“Purdue University and the Attala Institute were delighted to host this important workshop at this critical time,” said Mark Lundstrom, the Don and Carol Scifres Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Purdue’s chief semiconductor officer.

Throughout the course of the day-long event, teams of 15 students will compete in 23 diverse events that cover a wide range of scientific disciplines, from power projects to circuit labs.

Raghunathan is being recognized for “contributions to the design of energy-efficient computing systems.”

Dimitrios Peroulis, the Reilly Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Senior Vice President for Purdue University Online, will be part of a project known as the SMART Hub.

In her new role, Allen will oversee the development of technical strategy for Saab Inc., lead research community engagement efforts, and prioritize and meet research and development objectives with a focus on launching AI, machine learning, and autonomous systems.
