ECE PhD student awarded SPIE scholarship

PhD student Hsuan-Hao Lu has been awarded a 2019 Optics and Photonics Education Scholarship by SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics. Lu is currently working in Ultrafast Optics and Optical Fiber Communications Lab led by Prof. Andrew Weiner, and conducts collaborative research with the Quantum Information Science Group at Oak Ridge National Lab.

ECE student wins Distinguished Paper Award at ICST 2019

ECE grad student Charitha Saumya received a Distinguished Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation (ICST). ECE professors Saurabh Bagchi and Milind Kulkarni and Research Scientist Jinkyu Koo collaborated on this research.

ECE Prof. Vijay Raghunathan Honored as Outstanding Innovator Under Age 40

Vijay Raghunathan is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Purdue University and the director of the Embedded Systems and IoT Lab, which he founded in 2006. At Purdue University, his team investigates the design of new hardware and software architectures for next-generation embedded systems, IoT edge devices, and wearable/implantable electronics, with an emphasis on ultra-low power design, micro-scale energy harvesting, edge analytics, and reliable/secure system design.
