Prof. Shreyas Sen has been named one of the Top 10 Innovators Under 35 from India by "Mint" and "MIT Technology Review," both of which are published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Hundreds of individuals were nominated for the honor, with the top 10 spanning many disciplines, including computing, biomedicine, communications, and health. The goal of the awards is to recognize individuals who develop new technology to solve problems, or creatively use existing applications to do so.

The winners had the opportunity to present a three-minute pitch at the EmTech India conference, held March 9-10 in New Delhi, India. They are all also automatically entered into the TR Innovators Under 35 global competition, which in the past has honored pioneers such as Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Tesla Inc.’s J.B. Straubel, and Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Google.
