Professor Babak Ziaie and team receive one of eight NextFlex PC 1.0 contracts

Nextflex is America's first and only Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE) Manufacturing Innovation Institute. Each project was selected for its potential to contribute to the goal of the industry-led, collaboration-based NextFlex: advancing the manufacturing ecosystem for FHE in the United States. The value of all eight contracts is $14.8 million.

ECE Student Fan Chen wins Best Student Poster Award at ICPS

This award from the International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors (ICPS) is highly competitive and recognizes the student's academic abilities and scholarly achievements. Fan's paper was entitled "Transport in vertically stacked hetero-structures from 2D materials".

Emeritus Professor Larry Ogborn passes away

He earned his MSEE and PhD at Purdue in 1957 and 1961, respectively, and was in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering until his retirement in 2002.
