Professor M. Ashraful Alam delivers plenary talk at 73rd Device Research Conference
Professor M. Ashraful Alam was asked to deliver a plenary talk at the 73rd Device Research Conference. The talk titled "The Physics of Flexible Electronics and the End of Ohm's Law', explained how percolation, phase transition, and fractals are helping shape the emergence of a new class of flexible, foldable, and light-weight electronics.
Considered as the premier (and the oldest) semiconductor device conference in the United States, DRC brings together leading scientists, researchers, and graduates students from varied disciplines in academia and industry to share their latest research in the field. In particular, the conferences focuses on classical and emerging electronic devices, and attracts a broad spectrum of device physicists, material scientists, and system designers working on a variety of topics, including transistors, biosensors, displays, microelectromechanics switches, etc.
