Professor C.S. George Lee receives George Saridis Leadership Award
Professor C.S. George Lee has been awarded the 2010 George Saridis Leadership Award from the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.
This award will recognize outstanding contributions of an individual for his/her exceptional leadership, innovation and dedication that benefit the Robotics and Automation community. The award is named in honor of Professor George Saridis, the Founding President of the Robotics and Automation Council, which later became the Robotics and Automation Society, who exemplified the characteristics sought in nominees for this award. Up to two awards will be given each year.
The award consists of $1,000 and a plaque, to be presented by IEEE Robotics and Automation Society President Kazuhiro Kosuge at the Awards Ceremony at ICRA 2010 in Anchorage at noon on Thursday, May 6, 2010.
