Graduate Student Marc Bosch Ruiz received the Meritorious New Investigator Award at the recent mHealth Summit for his paper "An Integrated Image-Based Food Database System with Application in Dietary Assessment."

The award states: "We wish to recognize this new investigator for his outstanding research submitted to the 2010 mHealth Summit as determined by the scientific review committee."

He is supervised by Professor Ed Delp.
