Babaki Ziaie, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering, has harnessed the driving bass rhythm of rap music to power a new type of miniature medical sensor designed to be implanted in the body.

The inductees, who were nominated by their peers, were screened by committees of Fellows within their specialty and were finally elected by the full College as members of the official Class of 2012.
