Two Weldon School faculty members have been selected to receive 2011 Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) International Travel Grants.

Professor Nan Kong will be traveling to Beijing, China from June 24-27, 2012 to participate in the INFORMS International Conference. At the meeting, he will give a research presentation on optimal disease screening strategy design. He is also organizing the Health Applications sponsored cluster and represent the Health Application Society in the Institute for the Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS).

Professor Kevin Otto will be participating in the 22nd annual meeting of the Society for the Neural Control of Movement to be held in Venice, Italy from April 23-29, 2012. He will be an invited speaker in a session at the meeting entitled "The contribution of sensory signals to brain machine interfaces." The Neural Control of Movement annual meetings are very prominent conferences in the field of neuroscience and neural engineering.
