Weldon doctoral student Sean Connell is featured in Purdue's "5 Students Who are Patent Makers" series for a breakthrough technology he co-developed that addresses the growing number of deadly "superbugs" resulting from antibiotic-resistant fungi, viruses, and bacteria strains.

'Super-resolution' microscope possible for nanostructures

Researchers have found a way to see synthetic nanostructures and molecules using a new type of super-resolution optical microscopy that does not require fluorescent dyes, representing a practical tool for biomedical and nanotechnology research.

An Invitation: 14th Semi-Annual Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Presentations and Demonstrations

Course Instructor, Professor J. Paul Robinson, invites you to attend the 14th semi-annual senior design presentations and demonstrations. The spring 2013 senior design class will present six unique design solutions to healthcare or clinical problems.

Please join us for these presentations on Friday, May 3rd, from 3:30-5:30 pm in the Martin C. Jischke Hall of Biomedical Engineering, Room 1001. Immediately following the presentations,the teams will host product demonstrations in the Leslie A. Geddes Senior Design Laboratory(Room 1087).

A light snack and beverage service will be available during the design demonstrations.
