Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I chose Aeronautics and Astronautics because I had always dreamed about working on rockets and space exploration. To do something that is very challenging has always been very exciting for me.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in within AAE?
Humanoid Robots in Space Club and Purdue Space Program.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
STEP Program Instructional Lead 2024.

Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
I want to be an AAE Ambassador because I want to be more knowledgeable about the field I work in through communicating with different faculty and industry members and represent the school through my professionalism.

Favorite place on campus?
Lambertus/Dudley

Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
My favorite class is AAE251, otherwise known as Introduction to Aerodynamics. This course was very hands on, with multiple research necessary assignments and projects such as the Interamnia 704 retrieval mission. We were also paired into engineering teams, which is a group of people I still do homework with today.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
Talk to people and make friends. Make friends with professors and with students as there will always be something to learn and always have support to rely on if needed.

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
Elon Musk. He is a daring innovator who always looks to improve and to progress, as well as always looks for the toughest challenges.

What motivates you to succeed?
I really enjoy a good challenge and to do difficult things is where I thrive. This motivates me to continue to gain knowledge and skills so that I can keep up with the difficult tasks ahead me.

What is your ultimate career goal?
I want to work in a top engineering position in Propulsion and/or Robotics and to one day make something new that solves a new problem in a new way

What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?

I like to hang out with my friends, exercise, play tennis/pickleball and volleyball, play the NY times games, video games, and play chess.
