Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I chose AAE because I wanted to combine my passion for astronomy and engineering to contribute to advancements in space exploration.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in within AAE?
My favorite AAE events are the astronaut guest speakers, they are always so inspiring and I love hearing about their journeys.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
Purdue Chaiyya, a Bollywood fusion dance team.

Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
I want to be an AAE Ambassador to help inspire incoming students and show them how amazing Purdue’s AAE program is!

Favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is Armstrong Hall of Engineering. Seeing Neil Armstrong’s statue before walking into the building is always inspiring.

Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
My favorite class so far has been AAE 251 - Aerospace Design. I loved learning about space exploration, orbital mechanics, and rockets.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
One piece of advice I would give to an AAE student is to take advantage of all the resources on campus! Purdue has so many student organizations to get hands on experience building rocket/aircraft systems.

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
I look up to Kalpana Chawla. She was the first Indian woman to go to space and broke barriers for women in aerospace. Her contributions to space exploration are incredibly inspiring, and she serves as a reminder of what’s possible with passion and hard work.

What motivates you to succeed?
My mom really motivates me to succeed. She always believes in me and encourages me to do things that are out of my comfort zone, which drives me to keep improving.

What is your ultimate career goal?
My ultimate career goal is to work at a space company designing and developing spacecraft and contributing to space exploration.

What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?
I like to dance, watch k-dramas, or cook/bake.
