Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I have always been fascinated by the Apollo missions and just how exciting the aerospace industry is in general.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in within AAE?
AIAA has given me some great experiences to network with prominent aerospace companies and learn about career opportunities.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
I am heavily involved with Phi Sigma Rho, the social sorority for women in STEM. I love living in the house and bonding with my sisters!

Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
The AAE Ambassadors helped me find my place in AAE my freshman year when I wasn't sure which engineering to choose. I want to help other students find their spot in our program, too.

Favorite place on campus:
The Engineering Fountain - it is so pretty when it's running and there is always so much going on around it!

Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
I loved taking Computer Science 159 because I had never coded before but it turns out that I love doing it.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
Don't be afraid to study what you love even if it has some daunting classes. Engineering is tough sometimes, but it will be incredibly rewarding!

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
I look up to Julie Kramer White. I was fortunate enough to have lunch with her my freshman year at Purdue and she was so inspiring to me, someone who dreamed of majoring in AAE. She shared her experiences with graduating from Purdue and working at NASA for many years.

What motivates you to succeed?
My family motivates me to succeed. My parents are always proud of me being in AAE and I want to be a good role model to my younger sisters.

What is your ultimate career goal?
I want to work in the control center at NASA.

What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?
I really love to do ballet and tap dance.
