Prof. Babak Anasori has joined the School of Materials Engineering as a tenured faculty member holding the rank of Reilly Rising Star Associate Professor of Materials and Mechanical Engineering. He has a joint appointment between the Schools of Materials and Mechanical Engineering, and joins the Purdue faculty after his successful four years as a faculty member in the Mechanical and Energy Engineering program at IUPUI. Dr. Anasori will maintain his current laboratory facilities in Indianapolis while adding capability to new labs on the West Lafayette campus, continuing to discover, create, and control novel MXene materials that have exceptional properties.  We look forward to his continued interactions with his colleagues and students in both Schools and the Indianapolis location.
