Congratulations to Dr. Mayank Jain, who has successfully completed his PhD! Dr. Jain’s research focused on melt processed polymer films for capacitor applications and, specifically, understanding processing induced changes on structural, thermal, mechanical and dielectric properties to develop an in-depth knowledge of structure-process-property relationships of melt processed, Nylon 11, clay blended Nylon 11 and PVDF/PMMA blends. Dr. Jain was advised by Professor Miko Cakmak, and he has accepted a Senior Research Engineer position with Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics.
