We have another Doctor in the house! Dr. Jared Gohl has successfully completed his PhD! Dr. Gohl was advised by Professor Chelsea Davis, and his research examined the behavior of polymeric materials at interfaces in composite materials and in pressure sensitive adhesive tape systems. During his research he utilized mechanoresponsive molecules to help measure stresses and damage within his composite systems while also developing peel test procedures for adhesive tapes on extreme substrates. Dr. Gohl has accepted a position as a Product Application and Development Engineer at LyondellBasell.
