Congratulations to Dr. Licong An on successfully completing his PhD! Dr. An was advised by Professors Gary J. Cheng and Prof. David Johnson, and his research focused on utilizing the unique interaction between laser and liquid metal to design and fabricate nanomaterials with scalable functionalities towards potential device applications. The studies present different laser manufacturing approaches in addressing liquid metal fabrication challenges from fundamental materials perspective.
