Congratulations to Dr. Qi Wang who has successfully completed her PhD! Dr. Wang was advised by Professor Shriram Ramanathan, and her research focused on designing and processing the electronic chip consisting of hundreds of nano-devices with nickelate thin film. She fabricated the chip in cleanroom at Purdue Birck Nanotechnology Center, and the devices' performances can be programmed on demand as artificial neurons, synapses or memory capacitors, which may enable artificial intelligence to learn like a human brain.
