Congratulations to Dr. Dongsheng Wen on successfully completing his PhD! Dr. Wen was advised by Professor Michael Titus, and his research focused on understanding the strengthening mechanisms of high-temperature Co- and Ni-alloys governed by microstructural planar defects, which provide new insights into utilizing the planar defects to design new alloys capable of withstanding high-temperature loads over long periods of time. Dr. Wen has accepted a position as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Liverpool.
