MSE graduate students recognized by College of Engineering

Every April, the College of Engineering recognizes its graduate students who excel in teaching, service, and research. In addition, one postdoctoral researcher and outstanding mentors of graduate students are honored.

 


Outstanding Graduate Research Award | Di Zhang

This honor recognizes outstanding PhD candidates who have demonstrated excellence in research through publications, recognized contributions to the research field and society, leadership within a research community, academic achievements, and participation in professional societies.

Magoon Excellence in Teaching Award | Saswat Mishra

The honor recognizes outstanding teaching assistants in memory of Estus H. and Vashti L. Magoon who influenced the lives of many engineering educators early in their careers through this award. The selection is made by both faculty and students to recognize those students who were exemplary in their work as teaching assistants.

Magoon Excellence in Teaching Award | Jung-Ting 'Tim' Tsai

Outstanding Graduate Service Scholarship | Robynne Paldi

The Purdue University College of Engineering Outstanding Service Scholarship Award recognizes the engineering graduate students who provide outstanding service to the graduate student community, the School, the College, and/or the University.

Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award | Chelsea Davis, Assistant Professor

The graduate students in each School select an Outstanding Faculty Mentor to recognize his or her exceptional mentoring of engineering graduate students.
