Materials Engineering Professor Anter El-Azab is the founding editor-in-chief of a new journal from the Springer Nature publishing group, “Materials Theory”.
Purdue research is leading the way on making energy-efficient sheet metals, and Purdue’s plan includes technology transfer with MSE’s Professor Trumble. This work has been funded with $1.5 million by the Department of Energy.
Materials Engineering undergraduate student, Alejandro Figueroa, was awarded the 2017 Nuclear Energy University Program Scholarship from the U.S.. Department of Energy. He will receive a $7500 scholarship. He is one of 58 undergraduates across the U.S. to receive this award.
