ECE Undergraduate Experimental Course Descriptions
Experimental (ECE 19595, 29595, 39595, 49595 and 59500) course numbers are used to introduce new courses into the undergraduate curriculum. ECE 59500 is used for dual (graduate/undergraduate) level courses. A 3.0 or better major GPA is recommended for undergraduate students taking 50000-level courses.
In rare circumstances, undergraduate students may be allowed to take 60000-level courses. In addition to approval of their academic advisor and instructor, Graduate School approval is also required.
All experimental courses require a 'Department Permission' override. Please contact the ECE Undergraduate Office (undergraduate students) or the ECE Graduate Office (graduate students) to request an override if you are interested in taking an offered experimental course.
