Faculty Position Openings at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities invites applications for two faculty positions: one in the area of Computer Engineering (particularly relevant are the fields of quantum- or quantum-inspired computing), and one in Photonics, Electronics, and Magnetics.

Successful candidates will have outstanding academic and research records and are expected to establish a vigorous, funded research program, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and be involved in service to the university and the profession. An earned doctorate or equivalent foreign degree in an appropriate discipline is required at the time of appointment. It is anticipated that the appointment will begin Fall 2023.

These are tenure-track faculty positions. The position in Computer Engineering will hire at a rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position in Photonics, Electronics, and Magnetics will hire at the Assistant Professor level, with salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
