French TAship available for qualified graduate student

Position Type: Graduate Student
Priority: No
French TAship available for qualified graduate student

We would be interested in interviewing any graduate students (either native speakers of French, or nonnative speakers with native or near-native fluency in French) who would be interested in being a TA for the School of Languages and Cultures in the Fall.

Here are the immediate expectations:
  1. The graduate student would have to take FR 519 in the fall semester, this is our teaching methods course.
  2. The graduate student would have to be on campus the week before classes start to attend relevant meetings for the courses they will be teaching.
If selected, the TA’s teaching load would be either 1 course at .25 FTE or 2 courses at .50 FTE. These courses will be taught face to face.

Those interested, please contact Dr. Jessica Sturm, Associate Professor of French via email jsturm@purdue.edu.
