Technology Resources

This page outlines some of the main technology resources that are available to ChE PMP students.

Master's Server Access:

In order to aid in any virtual work you may need to do, the program has set up a Master's Server for all PMP students to access remotely. This server allows you to connect to your campus profile and utilize any software that would normally be available to you if working on a computer in a Forney Hall lab. This service functions separately from the access to FRNY labs via remote connection that most of the other ChE students utilize. The server access is reserved solely for ChE PMP students, so you should not have any issues establishing a connection in case there is an influx of connections to the FRNY labs via remote connection.

To connect to the Master's server, following the instructions for your OS below:

*It is important that when you are prompted for the computer IP address you enter the name (ecn-chemasters.ecn.purdue.edu)*

Software available on your profiles includes: Acrobat, Aspen, Comsol, GAMS, IrfanView, JMP, Office 2019. If you need additional software, please let the PMP Administrator know and we will contact ECN to add it to the server.

If you cannot connect to the server, please submit a trouble report with ECN (linked below).
