Congratulations to Abby Hair; a graduate student in biomedical engineering at Purdue Indianapolis. Earning the Carl H. McCaskey MD Research Award from the Indiana Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Senior Design is the pinnacle of our biomedical engineering (BME) undergraduate curriculum at Purdue University. In Indianapolis, this year-long course challenges students to collaborate in teams to design, prototype and validate innovative solutions to pressing clinical and societal needs.
