The 5th Summer Workshop on Spectroscopic Imaging takes place at Purdue University July 9-10. The workshop will showcase the most recent advances in the development and applications of spectroscopic imaging platforms and offer lab training of label-free imagining technologies.

The University Faculty Scholars Program recognizes outstanding faculty members at the West Lafayette campus who are on an accelerated path for academic distinction.

Pursuing answers: Implantable device research has potential to improve, save lives

A preeminent research team led by Pedro P. Irazoqui, director of Purdue’s Center for Implantable Devices, associate professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and associate professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, is making progress in developing wireless implantable medical devices for treatment of a variety of conditions using wireless networks of nanoelectronic sensors and actuators.

Rundell, Rickus receive 2015 College of Engineering Faculty Awards of Excellence

The annual Awards of Excellence for engineering faculty were presented at the Faculty Recognition Banquet on Friday, April 10, 2015. Ann Rundell, associate professor of biomedical engineering, received the Engagement and Service Award. Jenna Rickus, associate professor of biomedical engineering and agricultural and biological engineering received the Advising Award.
