Keynote Speaker Bio: Amanda P. Williams, MD, MPH, FACOG is the Interim Chief Medical Officer at March of Dimes, leading efforts in research, advocacy, education, and programs to prioritize the well-being of moms and babies. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she is committed to improving maternal and infant health outcomes through health equity.
Dr. Williams also serves as Clinical Innovation Advisor with the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) at Stanford University and founded Poplar Lane Advisors LLC to support maternal health equity initiatives. Previously, she was the Medical Director at Mahmee, enhancing health equity and care during pregnancy and postpartum.
Her extensive experience includes roles at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center and participation in state and national committees focused on maternal health. Dr. Williams is a Harvard graduate, with a medical degree and MPH from Emory University, and completed her training at UCSF.
A prominent voice on maternal health and health equity, she has spoken at major conferences and been featured in national media outlets like PBS, CNN, and The New York Times.
