Adaptive tools, laboratory redesigns and research internship program suggestions for students with disabilities are just some of the resources available in a new booklet to encourage greater inclusion of college students with disabilities in science, technology, engineering and mathematic fields.

Young Kim Awarded Trask Innovation Funding

Young Kim, of the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, was one of three Purdue researchers in the College of Agriculture, College of Engineering and College of Veterinary Medicine to receive a portion of $150,000 from the Trask Innovation Fund to develop his work.

Russell Main selected as Discovery Park Faculty Research Fellow

Russell Main, an assistant professor of biomedical engineering and assistant professor of basic medical sciences, has been selected as a 2014-2015 Discovery Park Faculty Research Fellow, and his project, "Imaging 3D cellular networks and fluid flow in a 3D culture model for bone," was chosen as a Discovery Park Fellows Project.

Dr. Charlie Babbs Recognized as Outstanding Professor

Dr. Charlie Babbs (MD, PhD), faculty member of the Weldon School, was awarded a certificate of merit as Outstanding Professor in Basic Sciences by the Class of 2014, Indiana University School of Medicine.
