Brad Duerstock, an associate professor of biomedical engineering and industrial engineering is the lead inventor of RoboDesk, a robotic motorized mount that's customized to attach to power wheelchairs, recliners, and hospital beds for users with disabilities. His team won third place in the Gold Division of the 29th annual Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition.

Jenna Rickus, a professor of biomedical engineering and agricultural and biological engineering, has been named a University Faculty Scholar. This honor recognizes outstanding faculty who are on an accelerated path for academic distinction in the discovery and dissemination of knowledge.

The report showcases PRIME Ethics: Purdue's Reflective & Interactive Modules for Engineering Ethics as an exemplary educational research program for its novel approach to infusing ethics into the development of engineering students.
