Purdue will hold the Sixth Summer Workshop on Spectroscopic Imaging on July 7-8 to present the most recent advances in spectroscopic imaging platforms, which could lead to innovative research tools and medical diagnostics.

Talks will be given by experts from Purdue, Yale University, Harvard Medical School, the University of Arizona, the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Duke University and Northwestern University. A poster session will follow talks. The workshop also provides a platform for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty to learn about imaging technologies through lab training. Lab training will be provided by Ji-Xin Cheng, a professor in Purdue's Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Chemistry, and his group. Information about the workshop, including how to register, is available at http://www.conf.purdue.edu/spectro16.
